What is a Dissociated Diet and Its Ingredients?

The dissociated diet is based on mixing various foods at the same meal to be easily digested and thus achieve in this way to lose weight or maintain weight loss. The success of this diet is that it does not ignore any nutrient and it is recommended for having four to five daily intakes. You can get up to lose 12 pounds of weight in a month.

If you have a weight problem or need to lose weight for a certain occasion like your wedding or other special summer event, consultation with a nutritionist is recommended that know what the most appropriate diet is in your case.

There are various methods of dissociated diet. Here I offer a simple adaptation, so you know which foods you should take.

You can have unlimited amount of fruit and minimum three pieces but with variety such as oranges, tangerines, pears, apples, strawberries, bananas, peaches, plums, apricots, etc. You may also include moderate amounts of nuts, e.g. walnuts or three five almonds as they act as great weight destroyer.

If you want coffee or tea with milk, you should have it one hour before taking the fruit or half hour later. Take unsweetened coffee, so you do not add extra calories to your diet.

Cheat Day

One of the drawbacks of this type of diet is the restriction of certain foods, which can create a lot of anxiety to the individuals that are performing this diet. Therefore, certain exceptions are allowed and thus relieve the desire to succumb to temptations. Thus, in addition, it keeps the metabolism high. For one day a week, you can take anything you crave for like sweets, cakes, pasta with meat, omelet, pizza, etc.

Lunches and Dinners

Do not mix proteins and carbohydrates; the appropriate combinations are more vegetable protein or more vegetable carbohydrates.

You can use meats, fish, shellfish, eggs, milk and milk products like cheese and yogurt to get proteins.

You can eat potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, pasta, biscuits, corn, beets and beans for carbohydrate.

The list is endless. However, these can be combined properly with carbohydrates such as tomato, carrot, eggplant, all kinds of mushrooms, asparagus, beets, spinach, lettuce, endive, broccoli, onions, cabbage, endive, peppers, green beans and artichokes.

Beware of Miracle Diets

I remind you to be careful with fast or miracle diets. The best way to have a body with optimal weight is to maintain balance of foods and consume all the nutrients in adequate amounts and will find the best way to lose weight.
